Breaking News began as a personal exercise in collage & design using the current day's issue of the San Francisco Chronicle. Intended to last only a month, the "August Experiment," proved to be a valuable exercise and has lead to the continuation of this site with expanded areas of interest.
This August, I've applied the process to The New York Times, in order to give a West Coast perspective to an East Coast institution.
